Health as a Right
“Health as a Right: Vocational Course in the Organization of Health and Social Services” is a Continuing Education Course for Staff from Foreign Countries, promoted by CESTAS and the University of Bologna.
Aim of the course is to update managers and local Health and Social Services staff operating on a participatory and economic-social-local sustainability.
The Program has, as expected result, to prepare students in managing decisional processes and logics within their institutional environments of origin and to become a working instrument for improvement and dissemination of knowledge and specializations.
The Course is reserved to graduates and upper secondary schools graduates with a relevant professional experience in Health and Social field and with a very good knowledge of English Language, coming from Foreign Countries.
The didactic program will be organized as following:
-25 hours of E-learning
-45 hours of classes in Bologna (Italy) and guided visits in health and social structures (Hospitals and Local Health Authorities).
Every item covered will have a brief theoretical introduction and in-depth sessions through analysis of case studies, simulation and combined planning.
E-learning activities and classes will be in English and integrated with guided visits of health districts and local health and social services in Emilia Romagna Region, which represents a successful example of management and a valuable opportunity of knowledge and experience sharing among participants. Tutors will support participants in their individual work, as well as in the E-learning sessions and classes.
